Juantorena will continue captaining Lube! The 34-year-old outside hitter announced that he’ll renew the contract with the Italian club and wear its jersey for the sixth straight season.
“As far as I’m concerned, I can only be still in red and white, in Civitanova: I’m about to sign a contract that will bind me for a long time to Lube, a club to which I owe a lot. These days, it’s a little difficult to going around and being able to meet with anyone in person, which prevented us from formalizing the contract, but we agree on everything,” the three-time CEV Champions League and four-time FIVB Club World Championship MVP stated.
