Rexona
In the second match of the quarterfinal, Rexona/Ades downed the rival in three sets 25-20, 25-21, 25-19 to finish the series by 2-0!
“Pinheiros had a good start and they came to take all or nothing. We ruined some plays and we were behind them in one moment. But afterwards, we improved our game and now we will play in the semis” says opposite Monique Pavao, who got the Viva Volei trophy for the best player of the game.
She scored 10, while Ana Carolina Silva and Natalia Pereira added 10 each as well.
On the other side, Paula Ana Cruz had an amazing performance and with 27 points she was the top scorer of the game.
“Even though we got eliminated, I would like to thank the players and coaching staff for their support during the season. We went through difficult times but we managed to qualify for the playoffs. It was my pleasure to work with such players” said Paula.
Camponesa/ Minas Tenis Clube will also play in the semifinals after victory over Rio do Sul on the road 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-14).
