Molly Kreklow suddenly left Italian Women’s volleyball club Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena in late November 2016 without giving any explanation. Now, after few months, it is known that she does not plan to continue playing professionally...

U.S. setter did not respect the contract she signed with Modena before the start of the season by literally escaping from Serie A1 club in November and not informing them on this. Molly’s contract with Modena expired last month and the only information on her was that she got engaged back home at Christmas. Until now…

A 24-year old former U.S. National Team member and Best Setter of the 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix became an assistant coach to her uncle Wayne Kreklow at the University of Missouri volleyball team, whose member she was from 2010 to 2013. During her 2013 senior campaign, Molly led the Tigers to a perfect 34-0 regular season record and the program’s first-ever SEC (Southeastern) Conference Championship. She finished the season with 1,480 assists, aiding the team’s record setting .356 hitting percentage.

Interestingly, Molly will perform her new role in Missouri Volleyball staff as a volunteer.
