On the last day of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics beach volleyball tournament, Mol & Sorum won gold,  Krasilnikov & Stoyanovskiy take silver and bronze goes to Cherif & Ahmed.

Anders Mol and Christian Sorum are the new Olympic champions!  Except at the start of the game when Krasilnikov and Stoyanovskiy had 5-1 and 8-4 lead, Mol and Sorum controlled the rest of the game and won 2-0 (21-17, 21-18).

Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan won bronze, and made history for Qatar with their first Olympic medal in beach volleyball. They won bronze medal match vs. Latvians Martins Plavins and Edgars Tocs 2-0 (21-12, 21-18)
