Andrea Anastasi, who has been at the helm of Trefl since the 2014/2015 season, will no longer lead the Plus Liga team. Nearly two months ago, it was clear that the Italian will likely leave the head coach position in Trefl and now it became official.

Under his leadership, Trefl won the Polish Cup two times (2015, 2018) and Polish Super Cup once (2015) as well as one silver and bronze medal in the national league. Internationally, Anastasi coached Trefl in their journey to the Top 12 in the 2016 CEV Champions League and quarterfinals this season.

The President of the Gdańsk team Dariusz Gadomski thanked an Italian expert for the fact that Trefl has become an important brand on the Polish volleyball map during these five seasons, the club website published.
