– In two weeks, Plus League will start. Do you feel any jitters before the official debut?
– A little. The first time I have the chance to play one of the best leagues in the world, against very good players who I watched on TV not so long ago.
– Why did you choose AZS Czestochowa?
– First of all, because it was the only offer from Plus League team. I think playing in this league will give me a chance to develop. In addition, I am a fan of this team. This is definitely a club with a big tradition. I’ve always dreamed of playing in it.
– A lot of positive feedback about your game has been heard. Do these flattering words motivate you to work even harder?
– I try to develop and play my best. Of course, the positive reviews are very nice. However, I strive to be the best player. I do what I love.
– You joined AZS together with Kacper Piechocki just after the European Junior Championships. Will it be easier for the both of you to integrate into the team?
– It will be definitely easier. Casper is my friend not only from the representation but also from the previous club. We feel well received both in the team and in the city.
– Does the presence of Dawid Murek and Andrzej Stelmach helps with the training?
– They are very experienced players and they try to help us. We have big gaps primarily technical and tactical. Their very presence and counsel will help us train.
– On the European Junior Championships you were sixth. Do you think that this was your maximum?
– I’m happy with the sixth place. Our goal was even below that. We have achieved even more than we expected, because the goal was eight. There is certainly a bit of a shame, because the semi-final was very close. Looking at the whole tournament, we presented ourselves well and sixth place is appropriate to the level of our sport.
– Do you dream of studying any particular science, or rather want to put in one hundred percent on the sport?
– I certainly do not want to let go of science. I have the plan to study at the polytechnic.
