In addition, USA Boys’ team also guaranteed a spot for itself in the 2019 FIVB World Championship courtesy of its victory over Puerto Rico in the NORCECA Championship.

The USA showed that its future is very bright in volleyball as the youth team made light work of a seemingly strong Puerto Rico side. Many pundits before the start of the match expected Puerto Rico to win the match but USA youths showed that the future is very bright for the country as they dismissed Puerto Rico 25-17, 25-19, and 25-20 in the semi-finals of the NORCECA U19 Championship in front of their home fans.

USA’s victory over Puerto Rico means that the team will have to face the exciting Cuban team which has shown a lot of potential in the NORCECA Championship Final. The NORCECA Championship Final is going to be broadcast on various platforms live including on the official USA Volleyball team website. Fans looking forward to showing their support to the USA youth team can do so by tipping the USA U19s to beat Cuba U19s on any online casino that is offering betting markets for the NORCECA Championship Final.

In the semi-final match between the USA and Puerto Rico, USA team dominated the Puerto Ricans on all fronts. The USA led the Puerto Ricans 5-3 on aces, 7-1 on blocks, and 46-24 in kills. The only area in which Puerto Ricans managed to show their prowess was in punishing USA’s mistakes as Puerto Rico scored 29 points in just 17 of USA’s errors. Going into the Final with Cuba, USA will need to be wary of committing any silly mistakes as they can be punished ruthlessly.

USA’s top performers in the semi-final tie against Puerto Rico were Alex Knight, Joe Karlous and Scott Solan. Scott Solan was particularly impressive as he led all scorers. He together with Joe Karlous and Alex Knight will be expected to put in the same performances as they did in the semi-final when the USA takes on Cuba in the final.

Speaking after the semi-final match, Scott Solan said that he was impressed with how his teammates helped him during the entire match. He said that each time he served whether going in or going out, he knew that his teammates were right behind him and that gave him the confidence to keep on pressing more.

Another top performer, Keller said that the win over Puerto Rico showed that the USA team is getting back their swagger and hopefully the swagger will be enough in the final to propel the team to beat Cuba.

The USA played Puerto Rico in the final after defeating Nicaragua in the quarterfinals.

Players who started for USA U19s against Puerto Rico are Alex Knight, Akhil Tangutur, Ethan Hill, Nathaniel Gates, Joe Karlous, Scott Solan, and Mason Briggs. It is these same players who are expected to start against Cuba in the Final.
