Argentina got their 2012 FIVB World League off to a flying start with a straight-sets (25-14, 25-18, 25-21) victory over Bulgaria in front of many Bulgarian spectators in Frankfurt, Germany on Friday.

Facundo Conte and Federico Pereyra topped scored with 13 points each for Argentina while Matey Kaziyski scored 10 for Bulgaria in the first Pool D clash.

Argentina got of to a good start with the float serves of Frederico Pereyra causing huge problems for the Bulgarian reception. Bulgaria’s top attackers Matey Kaziyski and Vladimir Nikolov curtailed up to three points for a short period but it was the Argentines who clearly took the set 25-14.
