Frank-Depestele
The Argentine Men’s Volleyball titleholders Bolívar reinforced their roster for the second part of the season with a veteran setter from Belgium.
A 40-year-old Frank Depestele left the club in his home country Lindemans Aalst, for whom he competed in the last two years, to start his first-ever South American adventure.
“Of course, the finances have played an important role in my choice. Otherwise, I would never leave for Argentina and leave my family behind. Still, it is an interesting offer in terms of sports challenge as well. Bolívar is an ambitious team and last month it played the Club World Championship. I could not refuse the offer, I am already looking forward to going to Argentina to discover a new culture,” the Belgian National Team captain Depestele stated.
He signed a four-month deal with Bolívar.
