Next season, the team that was created in 2018 by merging Vôlei Bauru and SESI-SP want to go further than the playoff semifinals, which is how far they went in the 2018/19 season. Still, it was a historical success for the club. After hiring Azerbaijani bomber Polina Rahimova, the São Paulo team made two more transfers.
The 2012 London Olympics winner and four-time FIVB World Grand Prix gold medalist Danielle Lins „Dani Lins“ joined SESI Vôlei Bauru. A 34-year-old setter came to the club from Hinode Barueri.
Also, SESI Vôlei Bauru tied American outside hitter Sarah Wilhite. A 23-year-old player has just won the German Championship with MTV Allianz Stuttgart.
How SESI Vôlei Bauru’s ambitions are high for the next seasons shows the fact that they started to build the new home arena with the capacity of 5,000 seats.
