Sesi Vôlei Bauru confirmed the renewal of the contract with Tifanny, the first-ever transgender player in the Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship.

A 34-year-old opposite hitter and the team from the São Paulo state have already reached an agreement in April but decided to announce it just now. Thus, Tifanny will play her third season in Bauru, only the second female team in her career after going through a gender transition in 2014.

The outside hitter Gabriela Cândido “Gabi Cândido” renewed with Bauru, while the club made three transfer hits earlier.
