Taubate-vs-Cruzeiro
Taubaté took advantage of the fact that Marcelo Méndez sent a lineup with a mixture of starters and backups and swept Cruzeiro in the classic valid for the last round (Round 22) of the 2020/21 Brazilian Men’s Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season: 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-17). The match didn’t affect the rankings for the playoffs as Cruzeiro secured no.1 and Taubaté no.2 earlier.
Taubaté have to play one more match in the regular season (a delayed match against Sesi-SP) but it also won’t change anything in the standings. So, the playoff duels were defined.
