Renan and Schwanke
It is now almost certain that Renan Dal Zotto will not be able to lead his team in the VNL due to hospitalization and recovery after complications caused by COVID-19 infection.
Bruno Voloch reveals on his blog that it looks like Brazil will be led by national team assistant coach Carlos Schwanke during the VNL in Italy. Brazil will start VNL campaign on May 28 against Argentina in Rimini.

Carlos Schwanke joined the coaching staff of the national team in 2019. He spent last 4 years in Qatar where he led Al Rayyan SC from February 2016 to December 2020.
