Brazil coach Luizomar De Moura: “In the third set, we lost concentration but we managed to improve our play and win the match. Anyway, it was a good experience to win the set after such a complicated run. It was important for us to finish on the top of our pool.”

Brazil captain Rosamaria Montibeller: “We stared well the first two sets. In the third set, the Bulgarian spikers came back strongly. Finally, we managed to focus again.”

Bulgaria coach Dimo Tonev: “I am not satisfied as we showed our strength only in the third set. As I said yesterday and the day before – my team is very young and the psychological issues play a big role.”

Bulgaria captain Simona Dimitrova: “Brazil is a very powerful team with an excellent game organization. We only played well in the third set but could not take advantage of our set ball.”
