In the official note, TAURON Liga bronze medalists ŁKS confirmed the departure of Brazilian Ivna Colombo for personal reasons. Before the start of the ongoing season, the 31-old opposite suffered a fractured finger during one of the training sessions. She had to undergo surgery and then go through a rehabilitation process. Ivna made her debut on the court in the jersey of ŁKS in November, playing in just 5 matches in the Polish Championship and scoring a total of 7 points.
The former Brazil National Team member (she didn’t play long for it) will join the club in her home country Sesi Vôlei Bauru, returning to its ranks after 8 years. A consensual termination with the Łódź side will help in the bureaucratic process for the regularization of Ivna’s situation for competing in 2021/22 Superliga.
