Dentil Praia Clube bounced back from their recent Club World Championship setback by beating Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde in straight sets in the Brazilian Women’s Superliga.

Just days after losing to Osasco in the bronze medal match of the Club World Championship, Praia delivered a confident 3–0 victory (25–21, 28–26, 25–18) in front of their home fans in Uberlândia.
The win moved Praia up to third place in the standings with 21 points, pushing Osasco down to fourth on 19, with one round remaining before the mid-season break.
Adenízia Silva was one of the highlights of the night, scoring 15 points and earning MVP honors. American outside hitter Payton Caffrey also added 15 points to help seal the win. Osasco’s Caitie Bird led all scorers with 16 points.
