Saneago Goiás defeated Vôlei Renata in straight sets, winning 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 in the 13th round of the Superliga.

The match at Ginásio Rio Vermelho marked Goiás’ second victory over the Campinas-based team this season and lifted the club closer to the top four of the league standings. Vôlei Renata remained second overall with 30 points, but its advantage over Praia Clube was reduced to one point.
Opposite André Saliba scored a match-high 21 points for Goiás. For Renata, Newton Fernandes – Acerola led the team with 12 points while replacing injured Argentine Bruno Lima. Setter Cláudio Bento earned the MVP award.
