One of the most famous volleyball coaches in the world stated that he has not made the final decision whether he will remain the head coach of Brazil men’s national team.
“I am thinking about it. I have spoken with the players already… I have a plan for the next 4 years. But, there is no hurry. The important thing is that we have an excellent group of players. We have a selection, so even if another coach takes over the team he will have the base for the new cycle. We will see what will happen. I haven’t made any decision yet.”
Rezende admitted that he received an offer from Japan to take over their men’s national team.
“Yes, I have some offers, including the one from Japan. Still, some rumors are not true. There is no “blank check” as some media published. Japanese people are extremely responsible and they know to appreciate your value. They want me to go there, but I have no desire to do so. I see my friends going abroad and that bothers me a lot. Many good people are leaving… I we all go then who will take care of our house? I think some of us can give an example.”
