Cruzeiro-vs-Corinthians
The defending Superliga champions Sada Cruzeiro defeated Corinthians-Guarulhos in a postponed Round 12 game to return to the top of the standings with an 11-2 record and 34 points, which is one point more than the second-placed Sesc-RJ, who beat them last weekend.
As media in Brazil reported, this game, just like Sesc vs. Cruzeiro did not go without complaints against the referees and it seems that every derby in Superliga will be partially marked with this until Brazilian volleyball confederation (CBV) introduces video challenge system.
Cruzeiro prevailed against newcomers Corinthians in straight sets, but with each one being highly competitive and with the first set lasting 38 minutes – 37-35, 27-25, 25-20.
The Cuban Yoandy Leal topped Cruzeiro with 1 points and 67% excellent attack. Rodrigo Nascimento “Rivaldo” scored 14 points for Corinthians.

The Superliga needs a video challenge system. Too much unnecessary fights when the sport is beautiful. We cannot let mistakes in refereeing cost the matches. We also do not want players acting like this.
