The 33rd edition of the European Championship commenced with a resounding victory for Italy, as they defeated Belgium with a sweeping scoreline of 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-15). The match took place in front of an enthusiastic home crowd at the Unipol Arena, creating an electrifying atmosphere for the event’s opening. With every seat filled to capacity, a total of 8,728 attendees added their vibrant colors to the arena, setting the stage for an exciting championship.
