The United States won the 2020 Tokyo Olympics women’s volleyball tournament (the first-ever Olympic gold) by defeating Brazil in the final with ease.

After the decider, the Dream Team of the tournament has been unveiled in which five players of the new titleholder found their places, plus the MVP comes from its ranks – Jordan Larson. A 34-year-old outside hitter, who was also named in the Dream Team, thus took the third major international Most Valuable Player recognition after those in the 2015 CEV Champions League and 2015 FIVB World League.
