VNL F6 W: Turkey took two points against Serbia

Turkish national team played another match of five sets at the Final Six of the Volleyball Nations League, but this time they won two points.

After a defeat from the USA, today Turkey outplayed Serbia and until tomorrow are on the top position of Pool B. The team of coach Giovanni Guidetti finished with pool stage at the final tournament and will wait for the result from the last match between Serbia and USA

Today, Serbia opened the match with a lead of 1-0 but Turkish players won the second part of the game and got self-confidence.

Turks won the third set thank to Karakurt who brought freshness in the team. Bošković didn’t allow opponents to win so she brought 2-2. In the tie-break Turkey hade more luck -(25-20, 21-25, 18-25, 25-19,14-16).

Top scorer of the match was Tijana Bošković with 31 points followed by Hande Baladin who scored 20 points for Turkey. Milena Rašić and Ebrar Karakurt scored 14 points each.
