Cannes dominated over Nantes Volley Féminin in the finals to take trophy number 19 in the competition 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-17, 26-24).
Despite comfortable result, it was not an easy win for Yang Fang’s side. Nantes provided tough resistance in the first two sets and even took the second. They missed huge chance in the fourth set in which they had a six-point lead.
Fortunately for Cannes, players of their rivals were betrayed by their reception in the decisive moments.
The Cuban from Cannes, Nancy Carrillo, was the best scorer of the match with 18 points. On the other side, Clémentine Druenne collected 13.
