ITA W: Imoco better than Scandicci for 13th time in row to take lead in semifinal series

No.1 Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano didn’t show their A-game at the start of the 2021/22 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship semi-final series against No.4 Savino Del Bene Scandicci but their rivals failed to take advantage of that.

Three years have passed since Scandicci beat Imoco last time. The 3-0 victory of the ‘Panthers’ in Game 1 of the playoff semi-finals of the 2021/22 Serie A is their 13th consecutive against today’s rivals. Imoco somehow always managed to come back from notable deficits in 2 of the total of 3 sets of the match at home: 10-17 in the 1st set and 6-10 in the 3rd set.
