Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza secured a place in the SuperLega Credem Banca semifinals with a 3–1 win over Valsa Group Modena in a decisive Game 5 at the PalaPanini.
In a tightly contested Emilia derby, Piacenza took the opening set before Modena responded to level the match. The visitors then regained control, delivering consistent performances in the final two sets to close the series 3–2 overall (25–18, 21–25, 25–20, 25–20).
Ramazan Efe Mandiraci led all scorers with 22 points, supported by José Miguel Gutierrez (17) and Roberlandy Simon (10). For Modena, Buchegger and Luca Porro both scored 14 points, with Davyskiba adding 12.
Piacenza now faces Sir Susa Vim Perugia in the semifinals, with Game 1 set for April 6. Modena will compete in the Play Off for 5th Place, aiming for a spot in the Challenge Cup.
