MODENA IS BACK: Trentino powerless at Palapanini Arena!

Both teams opened match with some good attacks. The first three point lead was made by home team (10-7, 11-8). Away side quickly reacted and with 6-1 scoring run, Lorenzetti had to take time out!

It didn’t help, as Trentino managed to defend and to organize good attack for 15-12 lead. Mitar Đurić was the man who gave Trentino four points lead (17-13). Kaziyski had an opportunity even to increase the lead but Bruno blocked him for 17-14.

At the result 20:15 for Trentino and after a new mistake of Ngapeth, Modena couldn’t make comeback and they have lost the first set by 25-19. 

At the beginning of the second set the result was tied. Since 10-10 score, Modena started dominating the game and after amazing NGapeth’s attack, home team had four points of advantage 15-11! 

Away side managed to reduce the rival’s lead but Vettori’s ace, Ngapeth spike and a minute later block on Kaziyski, Modena tied the score in sets 1-1. 

In the third set, Modena was dominating again. The home crowd was amazing in the decisive moments and Lorenzetti’s side overtook the race, 2:1!

Fourth set was the most uncertain. Great battle, amazing actions, some good defensive moves and after all Modena manage to win the game and to tie the score in series, 1:1!

Earvin Ngapeth was the top scorer with 24 points while Nemanja Petrić added 19. On the other side, Mitar Đurić scored 20, Matey Kaziyski 12.
