Last month was quite dramatic to Bulgarian Men’s Volleyball National Team and also Revivre Milano member Todor Skrimov.

Skrimov

He was diagnosed with a malignant kidney tumor after Round 2 game of Italian Championship against Azimut Modena, on October 9, and he urgently underwent surgery. Fortunatelly for Skrimov, tumor was revealed in early stage so a 26-year –old receiver has recovered quickly and made his second debut in the 2016/2017 season, in Round 9 against Kioene Padova, on November 9.

“Of course, after the game I received many calls. It was an unpleasant period of my life. I don’t want to remember every day but it remains an important period of my life. From these moments you can learn something… The truth is that I expected to be out for another 2-3 weeks although I have always hoped to return before. I was always in contact with our doctor. Everything went well and I finally recovered faster,” Skrimov said.
