For the girls of Davide Mazzanti it will be a very long season. Italy will open it with the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (from May 15 to June 14, Final Six from June 27 to July 1) and close with the most important competition this year – the World Championship in Japan from 30 September to 21 October.
Tomorrow, some of the girls will start with the training while the other will join the team when they end the season with the clubs.
“The main selection criterion was the performances that the players have had during the club season. The list also includes girls with little international experience, but I wanted to reward the growth path made throughout the year,” said Mazzanti.
