Behrooz Ataei the head coach of the Iran’s team of Kaleh after defeating Chinese Taipei said at the press conference: “It was a good match today that the fans liked to watch, I’m not satisfied with the quality. Stress made my players make a lot of mistakes and lose their serves. Our mistakes in the first and second sets boosted our rival’s motivation. Since the volleyball of Iran is growing worldwide in recent years, all teams are so motivated playing against us. They put us under pressure as we were close to loss in the first two sets.”

He said his player’s experiences helped them to make right decisions in sensitive moments. About the next game against UAE, he said: “We don’t know them but we will play just like today,”

The captain of Kaleh added further: “The first game is difficult and we opened the match stressfully, but got better later in the game.”

Adel Gholami, Kaleh’s player: “We will play at full measure with all our power in this tournament and we will also use our experience of previous years”.

“The level of the play was high until my players lost their fighting spirit,” the head coach of Taiwan team, YU CHING-FANG in an after-play press conference stated: “We had problem in our reception and serves in the first two sets. They lost their fighting spirit though. We have also lost many points in set three; the spikers were mostly responsible for losing the scores and creating the opportunity for the opposite team.”
