WCHQ W: Cameroon upset host Algeria

Cameroon Women's volleyball team achieved a ground breaking victory over hosts Algeria on day 5 of the 2014 Women's World championship qualifier African Pool T held at Harcha Hacène Hall in Algiers, Algeria on Thursday.

Cameroon led the six nation round robin tournament with a win-loss ratio of 3-1 (10 points), while Algeria suffered their first defeat to drop to 2-1.

Nigeria obtained their first victory after three defeats when they overcame DR Congo 3-1 (25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 25-20) in 100 minutes. Nigeria’s record improved to 1-3, while Congo became the only winless team with 0-3
