EL W: Turkey and Hungary take away wins in semifinals

The CEV European League (European equivalent of the FIVB World League) came to the final stage of the competition with the first semifinal legs being completed today.

The national teams of Turkey and Hungary are one step closer to the finals after each taking wins in away matches.

Turkish team had an easy job in Israel, winning by 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-20) in Raanana.

Melike Yılmaz from Turkey was the most efficient player of the match with 15 points. The best in Israeli team was Moran Zur with 12.

Hungary almost dropped 2-0 lead sets against Greece in Megalopolis but took the tie-break with 22 from Renáta Sándor.

Anthi Vasilantonaki scored 21 points for the Greek side.
