GP 2016: Was this video challenge a turning point of gold medal match? (VIDEO)

Probably the key moment in Brazil – USA gold medal match at the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix Final Six occurred at the end of the third set.

At 1-1 in sets and 24-23 for Brazil, it seemed their player Thaísa Daher spiked quick attack out of bounds. It should have been 24-24, but Brazil’s head coach Zé Roberto called video challenge and what a decision it was!

Replay showed the ball touched the top of Foluke Akinradewo’s pinkie and Brazil took the set. Zé Roberto was ecstatic!
