US-American middle blocker Rachael Adams is the very first player to sign for Tauron MKS after moving from Palac BYDGOSZCZ where she spent the last season. Adams, 23, shall join this year the USA national team. “She will be a very good addition to our group. We need a good middle-blocker to complete our potential in offense. Our staff has confirmed to me that she’s got the right skills for that” Tauron MKS Chairman Robert Kocma says.

He also confirmed that Belgian-born setter Frauke Dirickx is about to leave the club to play next year for Impel WROCLAW.

However, a few players have already confirmed that they will stay in Dabrowa Gornicza. These are wing-spikers Joanna Staniucha-Szczurek and Elzbieta Skowronska, middle-blocker Aleksandra Liniarska, libero Krystyna Strasz and opposite Katarzyna Zaroslinska.

The Board is currently negotiating with other players in order to build up a team that will be at least as strong as the roster that stood out this past season.
