There were no surprises in today’s matches of an 8th Finals in the Polish Enea Cup...

Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, the vice champion, had no problems as a visitor against a team from a lower rank of competition, AZS AGH Kraków – 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20).

Another member of the Plus League, MKS Cuprum Mundo Lubin went to the quarterfinals but for this team, it was not easy. Ślepsk Suwałki, a member of Division 1, showed some great resistance, but lost in a tie-break – 3-2 (20-25, 31-29, 21-25, 25-21, 15-12). Ivan Borovnjak was the top scorer of the match, and also in Lubin, with 24 points. Wojciech Winnik led Ślepsk with 26.

KS Jastrzębski Wegiel and MKS Banimex Będzin also secured their place in the quarterfinals after beating rivals from Plus League, Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Effector Kielce.
