Polish Volleyball Federation is looking for a new head coach for the women's national team.

According to sport.pl, the list of candidates consists of 9 coaches, and among them are some really big names from the volleyball world. This source writes that the top candidate is Giuseppe Cuccarini, currently the head coach of Chemik Police. Allegedly Chemik would not make him problems to work on two positions, but the Federation officials are still thinking whether it would be a smart move to hire someone who has contract with the club.

Also, it is mentioned that Polish Volleyball Federation also consider to hire Daniel Castellani, head coach of Fenerbahce, and Raul Lozano, who works for the FIVB at the moment. Both of them are top coaches, however they have both worked in men’s volleyball, so that might be the problem.

The choice should be made until the end of the March.

I really wonder how it would look like if in some way Castellani takes over Polish national team? He simply doesn’t look like a person to be coach of women team…
