According to Italian media, two members of the Dutch national team will soon become new players of Polish vice-champion.

As it was reported by the Italian “Corierre di Novara” and transferred by sportowefakty.pl, Anne Buijs and Maret Grothues-Balkestein will most likely strengthen PGE Atom Trefl Sopot.

Buijs spent last season in Azerbaijani Lokomotiv, becoming the vice-champion of the Super League. She is the daughter of Teun Buijs, who was Trefl’s coach in the season 2013/2014.

A 27-year-old Grothues, one of the most experienced players of the Dutch team, represented the colors of the French champion Cannes last season. In January 2014, she sustained injury of the left Achilles tendon that requested several months of rehabilitation, so Grothues was not called in the Dutch squad for the World Championship in Italy.
