“I think that Poland is a team that has something special. We didn’t choose the place of birth and we should be happy with the players born in this country. I approach these ideas with skepticism and I believe that Polish team doesn’t need this because we are strong enough and we are demonstrating it at the all tournaments” says Bartman.
He also commented on Antiga’s decision to not to call him for international duty:
“If the coach decides that he doesn’t need my help, I’ll agree with that. And I understand it. It’s a team sport so it is up on the coach to decide who is going to play and who’s not going to play”
