“We are looking forward to playing Brazil in Edmonton early next week – it will be an excellent tune-up for the World Cup, and Brazil is always exciting to watch for volleyball fans,” said Glenn Arthur Hoag, Canada’s head coach. “Brazil will be fresh from a series of matches with the U.S., so they will be in good form. We are anticipating two challenging matches.“
Eleven of the players were also part of the team that won a bronze medal at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games earlier this summer.
The matches in Edmonton will be held on September 01 and 02.
