This has not happened in many years. PGE Skra Belchatow will have almost the entire team on the first training in the new season...

Usually, the black and gold crew had problems to gather the starting six at the beginning of the preparations, however this summer the situation is quite different.

There are only few players that will not show up at the first training which is scheduled for August 8 – Karol Klos and Bartosz Bednorz are with the Poland national team in Rio, while Srećko Lisinac and Kacper Piechocki got some extra free days as they stayed with their national teams longer than the other players.

Also, head coach Phillipe Blain is with the France national team at the Olympc Games, so he will join the team with a slight delay.

This is the current team of PGE Skra Belchatow for the 2016/17 season:

Setters: Uriarte, Janusz

Opposites: Wlazly, Luburic

Receivers: Penchev, Winiarski, Bednorz, Szalpuk, Stanković;

Middle Blockers: Klos, Lisinac, Marcyniak

Libero: Piechocki, Milczarek

Coach: Blain.
