He suffered injury (tore the Achilles tendon) on Monday during the match against AZS Politechnika Warszawska.
Very soon he will have surgery and the rehabilitation will take a minimum four months. This means that Szalacha will return to training probably just before the start of the preparation for the next season.
Player of AZS Czestochowa started season as middle blocker but in recent matches he played as an attacker. This change was caused by the departure of Pawel Adamajtis who continued his career in the Italian Serie A.
