Asseco – Politechnika
Asseco Resovia won the eighth round match of the PlusLiga against AZS Politechnika Warszawska of 3:0 (25:17, 25:19, 25:16). MVP: Nikola Kovacevic.
Resovia started the match very well, Andrzej Kowal‘s team quickly imposed their own style of play, not allowing their opponents the chance to develop their wings. The second set also started well for the hosts, and although at times AZS kept the pace, they could not maintain the same level of the game – 19:16, 25:19. The third set was leveled only at the very beginning (5:4). With time, the locals built a lead (17:11) and settled the contest in their favor.
