POL W: Chemik Police near the fifth title; Veljkovic destroyed opponents

by WoV

Chemik Police scored the straight-set victory in the first final match of 2017/2018 season.

Chemik Police - ŁKS Commercecon Łódź

Chemik – Łódź

After this victory,Chemik Police are very close to their fifth consecutive title in the Polish Kobiet Liga.

Tonight, titleholders outplayed ŁKS Commercecon Łódź with 3-0 (25-21, 25-9, 25-4) and literally destroyed them which the result by the sets shows.

Stefana Veljković once again was the star of the match with 10 blocks and with attack 11-10 (20 points in total). In Lodz, players just didn’t have a chance to play so their stats are more than poor.

The second match is scheduled for April 30 and if everything was O.K. Chemik will lift the new trophy.

25 – 4 in a final match. This result shows the exact quality of the polish league. What a shame!

Re: @BRAZILvolleygirl
I feel like the Italian and the Turkish league is the only 2 leagues that are worth the watch and play in. The other league seems much weaker and receive much less attention…

Re: @BRAZILvolleygirl
Don’t forget they played 5 sets game on Monday night. Then, they had to travel back to Łódź (they have some problems). And later they travelled to Police.. So sad Lucie and Regiane are injured 🙁

Turkish league has much more money now, with help of Turkish Government. Isnt just volleyball, its basketball also. And its going into cultural sphere also (Turkish TV series).

In other side, Stefana Veljkovic is too good for opponents. We will see FIVB in May, June
