The 20-year-old spiker from Zenit Kazan, the star of Russia’s Junior National Team at the 2015 World Championship U21, is getting more and more chances by Vladimir Alekno. Especially in the very finish of the season since Zenit have secured the title a few rounds before the end.
Against Belogorie Belgorod, in the final round of Superliga, Poletaev showed that Russia’s Senior NT might count on him pretty soon – what a cut shot or shortened diagonal spike, if you prefer!
