Russian Men’s Volleyball top division members Lokomotiv Novosibirsk are definitely making a dream team for the 2017/2018!

After hiring one of the best opposites in the world, German György Grozer, former one-time CEV Champions League and FIVB Club World Championship winners signed another foreign newcomer. A 31-year-old Turkish setter Arslan Ekşi will be the mastermind of Lokomotiv’s attack next season.

Ekşi came to the Russian Superliga team from homeland where he defended the colors of İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü (İstanbul BBSK) last season.

Throughout his career, he became the legend of Fenerbahçe İstanbul whose jersey he has worn for a whole decade (2005-2015), winning national championship four-times, CEV Challenge Cup one-time, national Cup two times and Super Cup three times and being awarded MVP of the Turkish League one-time and Best Setter four times.

Recall that Lokomotiv extended with coach Konstantinov, receiver Savin and opposite Pavlov.
