When the Serbian volleyball expedition landed on the airport in Ancona, Aleksandar Atanasijević decided to organize an interesting game. Every member of the team had to put 1 Euro in the prize pot, and the winner would be the person whose baggage firstly appear on the roller.
“I played this game with Hristo Zlatanov four years in Piacenza and I have never won” said head coach Nikola Grbić to the reporter of Serbian newspapers “Sportski žurnal”.
Eventually, Grbić finished the game empty-handed once again, as the lucky winner was Aleksa Brdjović, the latest signing of Gazprom Yugra.
