On Friday Turkey continued their show of strength at the Balkan U20 Men’s Championship in Vrnjačka Banja by sweeping their fourth match in a row – and they have done so without dropping a single set along the way.

On the next-to-last day of the competition, they routed Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-18) to further cement their first place in the standing. Hosts Serbia are also still unbeaten following their 3-0 (27-25, 25-14, 25-23) victory over Bulgaria.

Today, the competition will come to a close and the winners of the much awaited matchup between Turkey  and Serbia will eventually seize the crown.

In the other match on schedule for Friday, Romania claimed their first victory in Vrnjačka Banja after fighting for five sets with Montenegro (22-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-19, 15-13).

Turkey  are the defending champions after last year they finished first on home soil in Ankara where the podium was completed by Serbia and Romania .
