“I think today we played very well, Eczacibasi played very bad, it was not an important game since the league is decided. it was important for us to boost our confidence. Eczacibasi is an extraordinary team with many great players. It’s always good for us to prove that we can play high-level volleyball. We have a tough schedule. We used not to complain about something we can’t change. It’s just the way it is, we have great players and staff and we can handle it,” says Giovanni Guidetti.
“This match was not very critical in terms of standings in the league for Vakifbank and Eczacibasi. But it was important for us to see what we have to improve when getting ready for the playoffs. We are happy that we will start this period with a win and motivation. I congratulate Eczacibasi it was a competitive match. Congratulations to my teammates,” says Gizem.
