Ziraat Bankkart defeated Fenerbahçe HDI Sgorta in the hit of the seventh round of the 2021/22 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship.
Ziraat recorded their sixth consecutive success in the 2021/22 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi, which came against a great rival. Easier than anyone expected, the team from Ankara was better than Fenerbahçe in the replay of last season’s playoff final: 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-17). The ‘Yellow Canaries’ are definitely in crisis as this is their second consecutive defeat in the competition. Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat continued to provide great games for Ziraat – today he scored 18 points, while Bulgarian Martin Atanasov had an attack of 71% (12/17).
With 30 points (76% attack, 25/33, two errors, blocked three times) on his account, Bulgarian Branimir Grozdanov led Bingöl Solhan Spor to their first victory in the Efeler Ligi this season. They were better than Avşar Maden Suyu Afyon Bld. Yüntaş in four sets. Burak Hazırol had a reception of 72% (25 digs, 48% perfect) for the winners.
