Igor Gorgonzola Novara didn’t excel against Bosca S.Bernardo Cuneo in Round 6 of the 2021/22 Serie A1 but won all three points and continued to closely follow the leaders Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley Conegliano (6-0) in the table – now they have a record of 5-1. With 18 points (81% attack, 13/16, two errors), American Haleigh Washington led Novara to the third consecutive victory in the competition. Caterina Bosetti had 80% reception (20 digs, one mistake, 55% perfect).
Megabox Ondulati Del Savio Vallefoglia (Russian Tatyana Kosheleva scored 25 points, Giulia Mancini set four blocks, and American Sonja Newcombe had 81% reception, 16 digs, 13% perfect) and Vero Volley Monza (Polish Magdalena Stysiak scored 23 points, Beatrice Parrocchiale made 81% reception, 16 digs, 69% perfect) interrupted their mini-series of two defeats. The victory of the latter is really valuable because it was achieved against the candidates for the title Savino Del Bene Scandicci and broke a series of four consecutive victories of the rivals.
