In a thrilling showdown at Istanbul’s TVF Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall, Arkas Spor emerged victorious in the 2024 AXA Sigorta Champions Cup (Supercup), defeating Halkbank in straight sets, 3-0.
Arkas Spor won the match with set scores of 26-24, 27-25, and 25-21. Halkbank put up a strong fight but could not overcome Arkas Spor’s relentless performance.
Georg (György) Grozer, Arkas Spor’s veteran opposite, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match, once again proving his outstanding quality at the age of 39.
